Registration

Registration is required for all conference participants and accompanying persons. The registration tool is now open.

General registration information

All registration fees are VAT exempt based on article 44 § 2, 4° of the Belgian VAT directive.
Registration fees are to be paid in Euros (€) by bank transfer, credit card or invoice.
Please note the respective registration fees shall only be valid if registration is submitted and full payment is received by us by the respective deadline. If payment of the registration fee is received later than the early deadline registration, the respective next higher fee shall be due.
Your registration is effective upon the receipt of full payment of the registration fee by us, i.e. only those participants having fully paid their registration fees will be entitled to participate in the symposium.
The registration fee includes: (1) Participation in all lectures; (2) Congress bag including programme and (3) Meals and refreshments: daily coffee breaks and lunches.
Support from pharmaceutical partners helps make this meeting possible. As such, it is important that we comply with the various codes and directives relating to the manufacturing, distribution, and marketing of pharmaceutical products. The European Union directive (2001/83/EC, article 86) provides guidelines relating to medicinal products for human use. Within these guidelines is the restriction that access to pharmaceutical product marketing activities must be limited to only those participants licensed/authorized to prescribe or supply medicinal products. All participants are asked the following question during registration: Are you licensed/authorized to prescribe or supply prescription-only medicines?
The early bird registration deadline is Friday 2 February 2024 (23:59 CET).
The regular registration deadline is Friday 15 March 2024 (23:59 CET)

Hinari is only available for individuals living in a country eligible for the Hinari Programme as set up by WHO for low- and middle- income countries. The complete list of countries eligible for the Hinari Programme can be found here. To become an EACD Regular Member – Hinari, you must have a clinical and/or scientific interest in the problems, care and/or treatment of childhood-onset disabilities at the time of your membership application.

ACCOMPANYING PERSONS:
You can register accompanying persons in Step 5. Please note that accompanying persons can only participate in the social events, not in the scientific meeting, coffee breaks and lunches.

Step 1 – General information: please include your personal information on this page
Step 2 – Promo code: this step is only relevant for faculty members and sponsors. If you did not receive any code from the organisation, you may click on ‘Next’.
Step 3 – Select the fee that is applicable to your situation.
Step 4 – Please select the social activities that you wish to attend.
Step 5 – Payment information: in this final step, you can indicate your preferred method of payment (credit card, bank transfer or invoice). If you require an invoice, please select ‘bank transfer’ in the final step of your online registration and contact info@eacd2024.org

You will receive a first email with an automatic confirmation that the registration has been received. This e-mail will also contain all payment details. All payments should be made in advance in Euro (EUR, €) within 14 days after your registration.
After payment, you will receive a second email confirming that we have received your payment.
If you did not receive these emails, the emails may have gotten stuck in your spam filter, or either your registration or payment was unsuccessful. Should this happen, please contact info@eacd2024.org

Important invoicing information

If you require an invoice, please select ‘bank transfer’ in the final step of your online registration and contact us at info@eacd2024.org The invoice will be sent to you by email, including corresponding payment instructions. Please do not pay before receiving the invoice.
If you have already paid your registration by credit card or bank transfer, you will still be able to receive a proof of payment, indicating the amount, however, it will no longer be possible to receive an official invoice. Therefore if you require an invoice, please contact us first and wait with your payment until you receive our invoice!

Invitation letters

If you require an official personalised letter of invitation, please contact us at info@eacd2024.org. This invitation will be prepared solely for the purpose of visa applications and is not a commitment on the part of the organisers to provide any financial support or confirmation of inclusion in the scientific programme.

Cancellation policy

Until 1 March 2024: the registration fee will be refundable, with the exception of a € 50 administrative fee.
From 2 March 2024 until 1 April 2024: the registration fee will be 50% refundable, € 50 administrative fee not included.
From 2 April 2024 onwards: no refunds will be made.
No refunds will be granted to non-attendees.
